Climate Week New York returns for its 18th edition. Leadership and staff from Conservation X Labs will be on the ground throughout the week at Climate Week—speaking, convening, and collaborating with partners across the conservation and climate tech community. Amid it all, we'll be making a big announcement of our own: alongside Renaissance Philanthropy, we're launching the South America Fire Fund.

1 PM – Conservation's Next Decade: A Working Session on the Future of Conservation

Hosted by Conservation X Labs, this closed-door session brings early findings from a year-long global foresight exercise to funders, Indigenous leaders, technologists, and government — mapping what will shape conservation over the next decade. It's the same format that shaped the South America Fire Fund earlier this year, and outcomes here will set the agenda for the first Nature Futures Big Think design lab later in 2026.
4 PM – South America Fire Fund Launch Party

The official public launch of the South America Fire Fund, an initiative to fight destructive wildfires in South America, developed in partnership with Renaissance Philanthropy and anchored by commitments from The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, as well as the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
6 PM – Nature Intelligence in Focus: A Climate Week Social
A to Z Rooftop, 16 East 39th Street (Attending)
Hosted by WRI, alongside the Bezos Earth Fund and Planet, this rooftop social marks the debut of WRI's new Land GHG Monitoring System and the launch of Amazon.ia, a multi-partner initiative combining satellite and ground-sensor data to deliver biodiversity intelligence across the Amazon.
